Caribou Facts
The Caribou Aircraft is considered unique, it is capable of very short take-off and landing on unprepared runways. For this ability alone, the Caribou is recognized as one of the best short take-off aircraft in the world. Currently, there are 14 Aircraft in operation with 38 Squadron. In 2007, the RAAF Caribou airframe fleet leader achieved 20,000 AFRS.
